ABOUT

Falcan is a small, multi-dimensional, eco-enterprise that encompasses rewilding & tree-planting for carbon capture in Devon, sustainable tourism consultancy, clean-water development projects, global brand development, plant-based food advocacy, creative art & social impact education, and eco-homes development.  As social entrepreneurs, Fiona and Nigel Jeffery each have over 30 years’ of experience in their respective fields, whilst Lauren Jeffery is an accomplished artist at the beginning of her career as a social innovator. Fiona Jeffery was awarded an OBE for her services to the Travel & Tourism Industry and for championing corporate social responsibility and sustainability issues. Nigel Jeffery has been a philosophical vegetarian for nearly 40 years; he graduated in 2020 with a First-Class Honours BA in World Philosophies from SOAS, University of London, and is currently studying for a MA in Anthropology of Food, as part of his plant-based food advocacy. Nigel’s first degree was a BSc in Land Management and he is a member of the RICS. Lauren has a BA in Philosophy & Sociology from the University of Bristol and combines her own creative art projects with delivering art well-being workshops for young adults and runs the social-media marketing for conservation & environmental organisations.
